It's not Trump
Let us not be distracted by the clown-show that is Donald Trump. Donald is just the messenger, granted he is a bombastic egomaniac and obnoxious ahole. Unfortunately, Hillary's campaign has been keying on how unfit Donald is and attacking his temperment. They forgot what he stands for.
Donald is representing the republican party. The party that wants lower taxes for rich people. The party that wants to abolish the right to have an abortion and will put in justices on the supreme court that will agree with this stand. The republican party does not want gays marrying. The party that says it will be militarily aggressive including sending soldiers in another major war and maybe use nuclear weapons. The party also intends to increase military spending. The party also does not think climate change is an issue. At the same time this is the party that thinks fossil fuels is still our future. This is the party that will do anything to abolish Obamacare. Let us also not forget this is the party that initiated free trade and now pretend they are against it. This is the party that wants to roll back regulation and allow financial institutions to take unfettered risk with our money. This is the party that does not want to limit the second amendment in any way so any lunatic can still own a gun. This is the party that will send more minorities to prison and allow America to become a walled police state. This is the party that believes America should still be led by those that came on the Mayflower. This is the party that wants less government and wants to eliminate the department of energy and education.
Have you noticed that most candidates that ran against Donald are now supporting him. Let us not be fooled that if any of them had won they would not propose the same things Donald has. This is the republican party. This is what they stand for. The main problem the never Trump group has is they don't trust Trump will go ahead with what he proposes not that they disagree with a majority of his proposals. Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, John Kasich, Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson etc etc all would have basically proposed the same thing if they had won. Donald has just taken it to an extreme and has not tried to muddle the issues like a slick Republican conservative would have. However, the message is essentially the same.
